The staff of the Consumer Council said that for such complaints, if the consumer signs an agreement with the brand agent in the store, it will be settled by the store according to the “first pay†procedure; if the agreement is reached privately with the merchant, it can only be eliminated. The staff of the committee coordinate the three parties of the consumer, the merchant and the factory to solve the problem, but if the coordination fails, the consumer can only choose to take the legal route.
The Consumer Council also reminds consumers that for low-price promotions, they must be vigilant and must not blindly follow the propaganda; contracts with merchants should be as complete as possible to avoid subsequent disputes.
