Changsha waste plastic refinery production

Changsha's “junk king” Wang Xu’s Changsha City Environmental Plasticity Refinery recently launched the second waste plastics refinery production line. In this way, the plant will be able to “eat” 30,000 tons of waste plastic items in one year, refining it to reach the country. Standard gasoline and diesel 20,000 tons.

Wang Xu invested 2.6 million yuan in 1999 to set up an environmental-friendly plastics and oil refinery. He hoped that the “white waste” of cities that could not be decomposed for hundreds of years would be turned into a treasure.

This project was supported by Professor Zeng Guangming, a doctoral tutor of Hunan University. Zeng Guangming and his assistants have made major developments in the research on the utilization of municipal solid waste resource technologies and equipment, and have also achieved laboratory results in dealing with urban “white trash”.

Last year, after the start of the first production line built by Wang Xu using Japanese technology, it was discovered that the produced oil contained carbon dioxide residue, which could easily cause engine blockage of vehicles. Zeng Guangming immediately conducted on-site research to improve the technology and equipment. After that, the diesel and gasoline produced by the factory were inspected by the Hunan Provincial Technical Supervision Bureau and the Quality Inspection Institute and were fully qualified to meet the national standards.
