Reliability growth test of compressive strength of corrugated boxes

[Abstract] This paper introduces the reliability growth mathematics model to describe the product reliability changes in the trial production stage. This mathematical model can be used not only to evaluate product reliability, but also to use its predictive value for quality management.

At the design and development stage, products are always inevitably affected by many factors such as design defects and inappropriate material proportions, making it difficult for products to achieve a reliability target value of “1”. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously improve the reliability of the product through trial-analysis-improvement-retesting. The data provided in this paper is a requirement for the statistical analysis of the corrugated cardboard box compressive strength. On the DC-KYS5OKA computerized test compressive strength testing machine, the corrugated box was crushed and failure data was used to correlate the reliability of the corrugated box compressive strength. description. 1 Reliability Growth Test Contents

The product's inherent reliability is predicted. When the predicted reliability value is less than the target value, a reliability growth test must be conducted. The product is analyzed for failure modes, efficiency, and criticality, and the main content of reliability growth is determined.

Specification: 350mmX260mmX306mm; Material structure, 200g·m-2B class white paperboard/150g·m-2C grade corrugated paper/230g·m-2 No. 3 corrugated paper; number of test cartons, 20 pcs.

2) Five-story (CB type) universal open seam corrugated box (referred to as the five CB type carton):

Specifications; 338mmx235mmXl80mm; Material structure, 250g·m-2 No. 1 corrugated paper / 180g·m-2 Class B corrugated medium paper / 250g, m-2 Tea board paper 180g·m-2 Class B corrugated medium paper / 230g·m No.-23 corrugated paper; 20 test cartons.

3) Seven-layer (ACB type) general-purpose slotted corrugated carton (abbreviated as seven ACB-type carton), Specification: 285mmX270mmX276mm; Material structure: Corrugated paper of 250g·m-21/150g·m-2C corrugated medium/230g·m -2 No. 3 corrugated paper (5 layers); 20 test cartons.

The three kinds of commonly used corrugated boxes were subjected to a compressive strength test on a DC-KYS50KA computerized controlled compressive testing machine, and the compressive strength data of 3 sets of 60 corrugated boxes were obtained.
