4 Total ink setting
The printing characteristics of the paper and the production speed of the printing press determine that the total amount of ink in the image cannot be too high. These must be adjusted in place before printing. In the professional image processing software photoshop, appropriate adjustment of printability control can be carried out, as shown in FIG. The setting of this value is determined by the production process of each unit and the actual printing situation, depending on the dot gain rate at the time of printing. If the network expansion rate is too large (≥20%), then the value must be reduced. Otherwise, the dark tone will be easy to get stuck, and the level of medium dark tone loss will be serious. If the network point expansion is normal (≤10%), it can be increased appropriately. This value ensures that the dark part of the tone is full and fully represents the level of the dark areas, which is beneficial to the reproduction of the entire tone. In addition, it should also be based on different paper, printing presses to select the appropriate ink.
5 Mastery of printing technology
Advanced printing equipment is controlled by the operator who has mastered the relevant printing technology. Prepress, printing, and postpress processing must be considered in an integrated manner. 2 A captain operates a Heidelberg CP2000 four-color machine that was manufactured in 2002 and has a high quality book cover. The material uses 2400dpi/175lpi CTP plate, imported 200g/m2 double copper paper, Japan four-color ink. Due to the tight production cycle, the CP2000 was temporarily interposed. When the school version found that the high-light part of the printed matter had lost its net, the dark tone was generally not full. The whole layout is extremely dark, so it is changed.
