Recently, waste aluminum foil recycling technology was successfully developed in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. This technology will ease the environmental pollution problems caused by scrap aluminum foil.
Aluminum foil composite paper is widely used in the packaging of many industries such as the cigarette factory food and beverage factory pharmaceutical factory, and the dosage is increasing at a high rate year by year, and its corner waste is also increasing. Because aluminum and paper stick together, they cannot be used for aluminum smelting or papermaking. They are discarded and burned, polluting the environment and wasting resources.
The Institute of Chemical Engineering of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, has recently developed a "dry one-step" waste aluminum foil separation and recovery technology and equipment, and established a recycling plant. Each ton of waste aluminum foil can recover 300 kg of aluminum and 600 kg of high-quality dry pulp, which has been identified by relevant authorities. Aluminum up to the national standard, pulp can create high-grade paper towels. The result has been officially granted by the National Patent Office. (Wang Xun)
