Method for determination of chlorine and bromine in soil by ion chromatography Li Donglei Liu Xixiang (Jilin Institute of Geological Sciences, Changchun 130012) Abstract: Using diffusion technology to treat soil samples, ion chromatography is used to simultaneously determine chlorine and bromine in the sample, and the detection limit of the method reaches 4 × 10-6 and 0.3 × 10-6, the precision reaches 9.38% and 7.20% respectively. The determination is fast and the operation is simple, suitable for the analysis of large batches of samples.
