Anti-rust surface preparation method:

2) The surface can be dried and cleaned. It can be dried with filtered dry compressed air, or dried with a 120-170°C dryer. It can also be wiped with a clean gauze.

How to apply anti-rust oil

1) Immersion method: Some small items are immersed in rust-proof grease to make the surface adhere to a layer of rust-proof grease. The film thickness can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of the rust-proof grease.

2) The brush coating method is used for outdoor construction equipment or special-shaped products that are not suitable for soaking or spraying. When brushing, it is necessary to pay attention not to produce accumulation, and it is also necessary to prevent the paint from leaking.

3) Spraying method Some large anti-rust materials cannot be oiled by immersion method. Generally, the compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa is used for spraying in an air cleaning place. The spray method is applicable to solvent diluted rust preventive oils or thin layer rust preventive oils, but perfect fire protection and labor protection measures must be adopted.

Why does hand sweat cause metal corrosion?

Human sweat is a colorless, transparent or slightly yellowish, salty, slightly acidic liquid with a pH of 5-6. In addition to containing sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium salt, it also contains a small amount of organic acids such as urea, lactic acid, citric acid. When the sweat is in contact with the metal, a sweat film forms on the metal surface, and the sweat film can cause an electrochemical effect on the metal and corrode the metal.

Sweating is unavoidable. To prevent hand sweat from causing corrosion, production personnel should wear gloves, fingertips, or use special tools to pick up parts. Do not touch the product with your hands.
