Asian newspapers, US newspapers and newspapers prices fall

At the end of October, due to the demand trend, the prices of most waste papers in Asian waste paper market did not change much, and the overall trend was relatively high. Among them, only the prices of newspapers and periodicals in the United States have changed. The CIF price has fallen by US$5 per ton, and the US OCC’s CIF price has stabilized within the range of US$130-140. The stability of OCC prices is mainly due to the fact that Chinese buyers have changed their usual purchasing habits. In the past, Chinese customers often bought large quantities in one week and completely withdrawn from the market in the next week. They would eat 20,000 tons in one operation and then disappeared for a whole month. Now that there are no stocks in hand, they have changed their usual practice, and summed up their experiences and lessons. They think that it is better to buy long-term stocks instead of buying them at a time. The former practice often affects the market order. The current practice is to purchase 0.3-0.5 million tons each month, which is conducive to the stability of market prices.
