Tested by the Municipal Consumer Protection Committee Furniture Office and the Municipal Quality Supervision and Inspection Technology Research Institute, 31 samples produced by 26 companies including Shanghai Zhuojia Furniture Co., Ltd. (Nordic e Home) and Yizunxuan, the test materials are consistent with the nominal. There are also 28 samples, the test material is inconsistent with the nominal. The investigation found that the business entity of the furniture business is chaotic, and the authorized agent is not standardized. According to the test, the nominal material is inconsistent, mainly manifested as false positive, shoddy, and non-standard logo. During the test, 2 samples were pretending to be solid wood with wood-based panels. For example, Ms. Xu bought 5 pieces of furniture at the Shanghai Chaoshen Wood Products Factory in December last year for a total price of 11,000 yuan. The nominal product of the order form is "the facade is rubber wood, the other is solid wood, and the back beech". However, the bedside cabinet sampling test found that the bottom and side panels of the bucket were plywood and MDF, respectively.
There are also 11 samples involving 9 furniture manufacturers, which are low-priced wood posing as high-priced wood, and some even have a price difference of 12 times.
