French designer Phillipe Starck recently teamed up with Netatmo, a start-up company for the development of smart homes, to design a smart radiator valve. The installation process is quite simple and it is suitable for existing standard pipeline valves. The valve and Netatmo's previously launched smart thermostat form a complete smart home system and is compatible with Apple's HomeKit platform. In addition to remote adjustment of temperature and setting of living habits, the valve itself also has the function of monitoring whether the window is opened or not, and intelligently adjusting the temperature according to the indoor and outdoor environments. The simple shape of the valve itself can also be well integrated into all kinds of home equipment, orange halo adds a warm sense of high-tech.
